Slice meat finely, mix meat with cornflour and half the oil then set aside. Place remaining oil in wok and stir fry onions and garlic for 3 minutes, adding salt and sprinkling 3 tablespoons of water over them, then remove the oinion/garlic mixture and set aside. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in the wok and stir fry chillis until fragrant. Add meat and brown then add hoisin sauce and vegetables and cook for 3 minutes, add oinion slices , mix well and serve with rice.
